Sérye Cafe Filipino

Back in 1936, Engracia Cruz Reyes opened the first Filipino restaurant. It is not surprising then that from 4th generation Reyeses, the descendants of Engracia, come a new concept with a uniquely nationalistic bent. Sérye Café Filipino is a coffee shop that celebrates Filipino coffee, cuisine, and culture. The stores’ look and feel was designed to follow Filipino sensibilities – interiors have a contemporary Spanish/Filipino theme and the background music features some of the best Filipino artists. Of course, the Reyes family’s popular dishes are featured in the menu, as well as a wide array of light meals, desserts, coffee, tea and chocolate beverages. Enjoy Filipino Coffee, Cuisine and Culture at Sérye Café Filipino.

thursdee: The place was not crowded and there were high chairs available which made it perfect for our toddlers. The food was really nothing spectacular; just the typical filipino cuisine. We had kalabasa soup, chicken barbeque, bangus bistek, and ampalaya con carne. The kids didn't like the kalabasa soup but ate the chicken barbeque with gusto. We got a 10 discount by using the Enjoy card AND a free cake when they found out that it was the little boy's birthday. If ever we're in the area again, we will dine at Serye once more.
