samberlin: walking in to this place, first words that went out of my and my boyfriend's mouths were "finally!"we have been planning on going here for quite some time, but was always pushed back because of either other plans or the restaurant's set lunch hours. we made it a point to only go here for the set lunch to save us money, and after receiving the new enjoy booklet and seeing that this place was included, we made plans right away! (because really, buy one take one set french lunch = yes yes yes)for the set lunch, you get two appetizers, one main course and one dessert - all served in regular portions (which were huge!)for appetizer, i started off with the steak tartar and my guy got this salad with egg and chunks of slab bacon, followed by his chestnut soup and my tomato shrimp salad. after we ate the appetizers, we had to pause for a cigarette because the first two meals were just so good, we couldnt help but clean our plates!for our main course, i went light with the pan-seared fin fish (which i've never had before) and my guy went for the duck burger (which was one meal in itself) the fin fish was really good and light, so i was able to enjoy it. the duck burger was so good, but also so stuffing, to the point my guy deconstructed his meal and just ate the burger minus the buns.at this point, we were just stuffed. so decided to just have our desserts for out. and the most amazing thing is, we only spent 600 (since i ordered an iced tea)when you go here, make sure to have your enjoy card and voucher along, and go here with an empty stomach! you will leave this place with a happy belly and a huge smile on your face :)
