Mo_Orlina: I just availed the privilege card last Friday and was so excited to use it. I invited my bf to have dinner @ Gasthof, A Venue and wanted to use the voucher that came with the kit. The offer was a complimentary sausage platter with every rib/steak course. The one who took our order said that we should order Baby Back Ribs so we can avail the offer, since I initially wanted to order the Ribs sampler w/ prawns; So we ordered Baby Back Ribs which was good for 3-4. While we were waiting, the person who took our order came back and said that they do not honor the voucher and I would be given the 10 percent discount instead. I wanted to get the voucher back since they wouldn't give us the sampler anyway, but they insisted that they need it to give me the discount. And then, when our bill came they only gave me 5 percent discount, which was quoted as a senior citizen's discount in the receipt. I talked to the store manager and they said that they were told by the owner that only the cardholder would be given the 10 percent discount. I did manage to get the voucher back when I was talking to the manager, although I have no intentions of coming back to their restaurant anytime soon nor would I recommend my friends to dine here. (Editors note: We have conducted a new briefing for all staffs of Gasthof, copies of the voucher page and enjoy card have been posted on staff corkboard. Gasthof management apologizes and reassures that Ms. Orlina's experience is an isolated case)
